The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) May 2018 is the new law that determines how your personal data is processed and kept safe, and the legal rights that you have in relation to your own data. The regulation applies from 25th May 2018, and will apply even after the UK leaves the EU. Please click on the links below for more information:

If you wish to access your records but do not wish to complete the Request for Access to Records form you may email your request to: [email protected]  Please be aware you will still need to visit the surgery with 2 forms of identification prior to release of the information within 10 working days of the request. (You will need to provide photo ID and confirmation of address).

CALL RECORDING – with effect from 25th November 2021 Temple Sowerby Medical Practice will be recording all calls in and out of the Practice, including those transferred internally. Attached is a copy of our Call Recording Policy

Surgery Information

Do not book a GP appointment if you think you might have coronavirus. Instead stay at home and self-isolate avoiding close contact with other members of your household.

Use the 111 coronavirus service to see if you need medical help.
If you do speak to one of our Doctors you must inform them of all symptoms you are experiencing.

PATIENTS GIVEN APPOINTMENTS AT OUR RED HUB IN PENRITH:

During the current COVID-19 outbreak, patients experiencing certain symptoms (breathing issues and / or fever) and who have been telephone assessed by a GP to need a face-to-face examination will be called to our local ‘Red Hub’.
